So this is happening: the third edition of You Are Here, an art maze and performance series to be installed all July in the new Secret Project Robot space. The last one was at Death by Audio two years back and it was incredible. This time, Maya and I are lucky enough to be involved in the planning and construction and we’ll be (of course) contributing new projections. But first, it has to happen (and better yet, be able to travel to Germany for a second installation in the fall!)

Sleepy Peopl (Maya and I) live-projecting for MV Carbon as part of the Practice series at Zebulon, April 2012. Practice takes place every tuesday, and we’re there projecting nearly all of them.

Why is this so good? Why is it especially good when you are wandering towards it across the desertified wastes of far southeast Brooklyn? So that you crest the last sand dune and come suddenly upon the Nehemiah Spring Creek Houses. And then the car soundsystem blasting this turns, next, to that one Ludacris song that Hudmo spun on Essential Mix.
